Ok, here's the obligate Journal entry for a DD..

Wow!! I got my first DD!

I'm floored for many, many reasons. If it wasn't 7:45am and I just woke up, I have to go out for a drink ;)

But, I guess thanks to everyone who liked the image(s) and I need to do something for the models now.

Edit: Oh, here is the link... (BTW) which would you have picked?

I'm pretty sure I would have picked the first pic (the one that actually got selected). There's a great deal more tension - something between a firing squad, police arrest, and a begging (as the title suggests). It's the same reason that pictures tend (tend) to be better when the subjects aren't addressing the camera - they establish a relationship with something else in the picture and it just creates more.

theyre both good, i like them both for separate reasons. The DD is great bc it's kinda blanket repetition, 'same idea just over and over in various shapes of it. :) i like the 2nd one bc it gives the ladies faces, makes it more human and less abstract. but i love them both. :)

Congratulations! It is a good picture. They even credited me for being part of the picture, which is super. I can't wait for you to upload more of the pictures from that weekend. I am sure there are others that are looking forward to it too.

I have a DD, too. I guess ours are not the same thing. Hahahaha

Congratulations on the DD! It's a great picture! I do think I prefer the second one as it emphasizes the vertical more.

I know you don't watch me anymore because of my watermarks, but I do stop by from time to time. Keep shooting!
